The Weerter Darts Competitie (WDC) has organised darts in and around Weert since 1985. Today it counts nearly a thousand members in over a hundred teams, spread over an Eredivisie and several lower divisions, plus a cup, tournaments and regional teams.

I built the website in Ruby on Rails and it has been online since 2015. Since then I keep improving it, season after season: the players and the board find the standings, results and statistics in one place, and arrange sign-ups and postponements online. The design is by Typerend.

Inside the application

  • Standings, results and schedules

    Every division has its own standings, results and schedule, from the Eredivisie to the lowest groups.

  • Player statistics

    Individual rankings, 180s, high checkouts and the records of the league.

  • Cup and tournaments

    The WDC Cup, a tournament agenda with results, and rankings for A and B players.

  • Online forms

    New members and teams sign up online, and postponed matches and player transfers are arranged through forms.

  • An archive back to 1985

    Earlier seasons, the board, the venues and downloads, all in one place.

  • A members' area

    Members log in to the website for what only concerns them.
